The Godden Gaming Organisation has been established in the leisure industry for over forty years. The Organisation began by operating three regional Amusement Parks in the 1980s, expanding to take in the iconic Dreamland in Margate in 1995. With the increase in global transport, the focus switched to less seasonal, more adult focused entertainment, together with family entertainment centres based in the traditional seaside resorts that maintain their appeal in modern Britain. The Organisation now operates fifteen Adult Gaming Centres and four Family Entertainment Centres in the South East.
The Organisation over the same period of 30 years, operated restaurants, pubs and nightclubs. At the point of opening, its premier night venue ‘La Parisienne’, the venue was the largest outside of the West End and was subsequently sold to Luminar Leisure. Having recently forayed back into hospitality with The Bench Wine & Tapas Bars, as well as several stand alone Gastro Pubs & Restaurants, the Organisation continues to diversify its business interests across the hospitality and leisure sector.
The Organisation has three key personnel: Jeremy Godden (Managing Director), Jordan Godden (Commercial Director) and Stephen Lawrence (Chief Operating Officer). Jeremy and Jordan both assumed senior roles in the Organisation at the beginning of 2012. Stephen Lawrence joined the Organisation in November 2014, bringing with him a wealth of experience in the Low Stakes Gambling Sector having previously held the same position for both Praessepe PLC (Cashino) and RAL Ltd (Quicksilver), the two largest Adult Gaming Centre operators in the UK.
