Celebrating Over 40 years in the Leisure Industry

Since our inception over four decades ago, the Godden Gaming Organisation has been a pioneering force in the leisure industry. Our journey began in the 1980s, operating three regional amusement parks. In 1995, our portfolio expanded to include the iconic Dreamland in Margate, a landmark in British entertainment history.

As global transport made the world smaller, we adapted our focus. Today, we specialise in providing year-round, adult-focused entertainment, alongside family entertainment centres that celebrate the timeless appeal of Britain’s seaside resorts. As part of our strategy to acquire both trading and greenfield locations and in turn make stategic corporate disposals, the organisation currently operates 17 Palace Amusements and 3 Seaside Amusement Arcades.

Since 2013, we've led the market in opening more greenfield sites across the UK than any other operator. Our in-house expertise ensures we can adapt and thrive in a variety of locations. Our interest in Family Entertainment Centres is focused on freehold opportunities or outstanding leasehold propositions, generally within a four-hour radius of Kent. We're actively seeking centres that offer asset management potential, be it through operational enhancements, investment, or property development.
